I think it is primarily a problem when I use 'Mail' -- each message becmes truncated and I have to go back and fill in the missnglttrs. (and it is far worse than I have illutrated...) Pehaps I'll return to Eudora and see what happens... I was kind o hoping that someone else had encountered this polem an had an easy answer before I tke drastic measures, lke re-install OSX ad evrything else. Murr
