I agree -- they suck.

The only Belkin product which I have used which is the exception for me 
is the hub that allows me to connect a single USB keyboard and mouse to 
and connect to up to 4 computers, and then switch between them so I can 
control more than one computer with a single keyboard and mouse.

Very useful.
