Canadian iTunes Music Store, eh? [OT]

I just read in the Toronto Star that a company called Moontaxi is about to
start up a new online Music Store for downloading music. It appears to be a
direct clone of the iTunes store.

But (huge BUT), it is not for Mac users. It will only work with Puretracks
for Windows and it will only offer the tunes in the Windows Audio Media
format.

At the beginning it will offer music only in Canada at .99¢ Canadian (.65¢
US). However, it is slated to be offered in the UK very shortly.

So, it still appears that if you are a Mac user and live in Canada (or the
UK) you will still be out of luck!

Arrghhh!
