I actually had my I- apps behave this way upon a reinstall of 10.2.6. So I cannot say that it has to do with the 10.2.8 update solely. I ended up reinstalling everything again without archiving and it worked fine again in 10.2.6. It was a pain to have to manually move my files and start over, but worth it so far.
