Pro Keypad Numbers Pad Problem

I¹m using a Titanium 1 ghz OS 10.3.2, Apple Pro Keyboard, just recently I
started having problems with my numbers pad. The numbers lock doesn¹t work
and the keys will lock certain programs like Excel if used. I have two
different setups with the same keyboard and the same result.
Does anyone have an idea where to start or what the problem might be?
