It should be /Users/Shared/Library. You don't have to do anything. The help viewer will launch the help section for the application in question automatically. Any applications you install will have their own help routines, and will install the appropriate files/directories in ~/Library. If what I think happened did happen, then go to ~/Library/Caches and delete the folder called com.apple.helpui. This will do no harm and will only cause the help utility to rebuild its cache. Be aware this is the Library folder in your user account directory (home). NOT any system Libraries. Do not mess with anything outside your user directory, or the /Applications directory, unless you're absolutely certain you know what you are doing. You WILL break your system if you have admin access and start mucking around in /Library or /System/Library. -- Chris
