The plastic edging is almost certainly a form of polycarbonate (aka Lexan) and therefore cracks can be 'welded' using a solvent-type welder. I've had some success using Ambroid ProWeld repairing simple cracks. Not every such repair has proved perfect, but overall I consider this to be the first choice (before replacing the part.) ProWeld (and other similar solvent-welders) is available at hobby shops, I bought some at towerhobbies.com. dan k ................................. http://macdan.n3.net/ carracho://dankephoto.dhs.org:9700 hotline://dankephoto.dhs.org:9500 .................................
