I have both. I just bought a new Powerbook to replace my Ti and also have the G5 iMac for home base. But most of my work is done on the fly. I use the desktop for ripping, burning, downloading, resampling my radio shows and batch processing photos.... The laptop runs the radio show, gives me Wi-Fi, keeps my appts, takes notes at meetings, and allows me to work no matter where I am on numerous websites...
