[X-Apps] 1. mail.app losing passwords

I have never seen this behavior myself.  The only thing I can think to 
check is this.  Go to Mail->preferences->accounts
->edit->options.  See if use secure sockets layer is checked [SSL].  If 
it is maybe un-checking it may help.
