If you don't have graphics software go to http://www.lemkesoft.de/gcdownload_us.html and get GraphicConverter. The new version has a fee, scroll down the page for older free downloads. This will allow you to batch convert an entire folder at one go. (and just about anything else you want, this is amazing software) Get GifBuilder http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/VT/10438 Read the instructions at http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/ndlpedu/educators/workshop/animate/ builder.html Play with it. If you scroll down to step 5 on the instructions page, you will see in the Options menu that there are all sorts of settings that can be made. You may want to try different settings. For example, it sounds like the graphs you want to use will have the same colour range, so in Options > Colors, you can reduce the number of colours to 64 or 32 or even less if the quality is still there. Also in Options > Disposal Method, if the bulk of the images are the same, and only the waveform changes, then you can throw out most of the information about the grid for the intermediate images as GifBuilder only needs the first and the last grid, and just needs the info for the waveform for the rest of the images. RTFM for the appropriate disposal method. Finally, if you have a waveform doing a complete cycle, throw out the last image of the cycle and loop the animation. If the last image is the same as the first you will get a pause in the animation. Have fun. Let us see the results. Dave Tinker WhateverWerx Multimedia
