Nither mgetty nor vgetty are ported to Mac (according to freshmeat.net). You'll need a new modem because the Apple Modem that comes in the newer Macs (I think anything G3 or newer) aren't "voice capable" anyway. Try CoMa X Voice/Pro 6.4.1 for Mac OS X <http://hartmann-b.de/index_en.html> I've never used it but it claims to do what you want. Their site is in German and somewhat broken English - they do list the modems that will work and USB <-> Serial adaptors that you will need; do read that part carefully before you buy.
