The scanner showing up eight times may be the problem...but the ids ARE set correctly (5 and 6). After seeing so many emails about scanners and system 10.3 today, I decided to reboot into system 9. On my way there I saw that I had backed up system 10.2 onto a hard drive and it came up as an option to reboot into 10.2. I did and the scanner works just fine! This will be a pain (like running quark in system 9 instead of classic) but it will put off the purchase of a new firewire scanner for a bit... suz On 1/28/04 10:15 AM, "Steven Rogers" wrote: > > On Jan 28, 2004, at 12:05 PM, Suzanne wrote: > >> I have a REALLY weird thing going on in my system profile (I liked the >> look of 10.2 better BTW).
