Quicken PC to Mac Quicken

I have a neighbor who is considering switching from the PC to Mac.. His 
concern is being able to transfer his PC data in Quicken into the mac 
version.  Also he use outlook email and will want to move that to Apple 
Mail. He probably has other data the will need to be transferred.

Anyone been down this road and have suggestions that I can pass on to 
him and create a new Mac user.
