In the new user account the app works perfectly, so the problem is with the computer and my main user account. I've already run repair permissions in disc utility as per another suggestion. I now can accept simply using the program in the other account (hmm...attractive, less clutter and can easily move graphic images via the LaCie external HD...on the other hand, I like a ship that works well, I'd like to track down the problem in my main account). Any suggestions? ToonBoomExpress is the only app affected by this failure to launch. However, since updating to 10.3.9 I've had finder crashes when opening folders, maybe about 5-10% of the time. Also the contents of 3 folders kept in the sidebar with Home, Applications, Documents, Desktop, etc simply vanished and are unfindable since the OS upgrade,(yes tried Cmd F). Other recent 'out of the ordinary events': install Adobe CS, Install MM Flash MX/Freehand/Fireworks from an old CD (the DreamWeaver had been installed long ago) Oh, and yes the software tech support are trying to help too, but they have no idea as of yet. Emac 1GHz, 1GB SDRAM, 60 GB HD partitioned OS 10.3.9/9.2 Thank you, Tony
