Help with SMB logins

Small weird problem.
I'm trying to connect to an administrative share on a
windows machine... smb://<ip>/c$
I know this share works since I'm able to connect to
it from my PC.
If I enter that same address in 10.3, I get the error
"Could not connect to the server because the name or
password is not correct"
Funny thing is, it hasn't asked me to authenticate.
I thought that maybe I had asked to have the password
saved in Keychain, but I can't find anything regarding
that IP.
How do get 10.3 to prompt me for authentication?
