Actually I'm talking about the boot CD disk image that you can download from Apple: http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/ I burned the image to CD and tried to boot from it. What happens is that you get the Apple logo and then the logo shifts right and down and gets slightly garbled and that's as far as you get. As it happens I see the same problem trying to boot from my DiskWarrior CD 3.0.2 CD on this AiBook (which works fine in my other computers). Note that in the case of DiskWarrior I was able to use the program BootCD to create a bootable 10.3.7 CD. That worked great, but obviously does no good for Darwin. So there isn't a general problem with booting from CD on this AiBook. Steve
