you're not alone. airports are a step away from hosed. chances are if you plugged it into the ethernet interface it would work fine.

i don't mean this in a bad way, but if you're seeing what so many others are... apple won't help you out, and you'll soon spend $50 on a linksys or other model, so you might just want to save yourself some time.
