Yes, I have done Detect Displays, it gives the same two resolutions. If I set the PB screen up to 1024x768 then do mirror I get an 800x600 window in the middle of the screen. The projector is set-up as Auto (other options are VGA400, VGA, SVGA and XGA) if I set the projector up to SVGA the do detect displays it changes the projector back to Auto. I thought there might be a way to tell Display Preferences to use a resolution it doesn't detect, I thought that an older version of OS X had a "Show All" modes option but I can't see that on 10.3.9. Thanks, Regards, Rob.
