[X4U] Viewing WMP Streams

Hello, do any of you guys ever try to view video streams in Windows Media
Player format?  The playback on my Quicksilver G4 is abysmal.  It's so
choppy that it will pause for three or four seconds at a time.  My wife is a
dancer and she can't follow the choreography in the videos at all.  Is there
a way to work around this problem that would be easier than buying a Windows
box?  Maybe I could save the stream with Snapz Pro and try to convert it to
a different format?  Thanks,
