[X4U] Multipage PC Fax

I have a multi-page PC fax saved as separate files. The first file has 
the file name extension .fax; subsequent files (presumably one for each 
page) have the file name extensions .001, .002, and so on. The files 
appear to be binaries, and each begins with the characters TDFI.

I've been unable to find a Mac app which can open this fax (including 
GraphicConverter, of course). Does anyone know anything about this 
format and how it could be viewed on a Mac?
