[X4U] Reply - Attachments

When I reply to a message that has been sent with an attachment, Mail 
includes the original attachment in the reply. This is irritating.  How 
can I reply without including the original attachment?  I know I can 
just delete the attachment or highlight some text and hit reply - but 
its irritating.  I should be able to reply to the "whole message" 
without the attachment.  Is there some setting I'm missing?
