[X4U] Ethernet (en0) problems after Tiger upgrade?

Is anybody else experiencing Ethernet connectivity issues after the  
Tiger upgrade? I'm on a PowerBook G4 with AirPort as well as  
Ethernet.  I connect to the internet via cable, using a Linksys  
router. Airport still works fine under DHCP. However, switching to  
en0 (wired ethernet) with DHCP yields a 169.254.x.x address, and I  
cannot get it to give me a "real" IP. Nothing changed in that  
particular location's setup between Panther and Tiger. I can switch  
to manual mode, specifying IP, router, DNS, etc., and I obviously get  
an IP. However, I do not seem to have connectivity, still.

Seems like everything was working fine under Panther. Now all I have  
is AirPort for my ethernet connectivity.

Any ideas?
