[X4U] iChat, iSight Problems

Has anyone experienced any iSight / iChat problems?  My brother-in- 
law tried to video chat with me today, I would click "Accept"  when  
an incoming video or voice chat would come in then the message would  
say "Starting video chat with .... " then nothing.  It would fail or  
it would say declined.  I also tried starting the chat and had the  
same results.  However, text chat works fine.

He's has DSL, iMac G5 running Panther 10.3.8 (maybe) could .9
Me: Cable modem, Dual G4, Tiger 10.4.2

Ideas? Suggestions?
