But like I said: Try Graphic Converter. If you're comparing exactly  
identical images then the comparison by content is pretty fast, even  
on my lowly 500 MHz G3 iBook. It probably uses hash tables or  
something of the kind.

Even when looking for "similar pictures" I'm still impressed how well  
and fast it works.
