Everyone who has installed and tried Parallels Workstation 2.1 with XP says it's FASTER than the native dual boot speed. You are confusing the emulation specs with the reality that the Parallels option uses the Core Duo's Virtualization HARDWARE to run XP. That long list of obsolete specs has little relationship to how XP performs inside Parallels Workstation 2.1. It does not perform as if it's on a PII processor with USB 1.1. It is running FULL BORE on the Intel hardware that is in the Intel Mac. -- Taylor Barcroft New Media Publisher, Editor, Video Journalist, Podcaster, Futurecaster Santa Cruz CA, Beach of the Silicon Valley URL http://FutureMedia.org RSS http://feeds.feedburner.com/FutureMedia iTunes http://tinyurl.com/8ql87 barcroft (gizmo) kungax (Skype) kungag5 (iChat-AIM) On Apr 7, 2006, at 6:41 AM, Jim Robertson wrote: > Hard to believe that a PII processor and USB 1.1 will keep lots of > folks > happy.
