Everyone who has installed and tried Parallels Workstation 2.1 with
XP says it's FASTER than the native dual boot speed. You are
confusing the emulation specs with the reality that the Parallels
option uses the Core Duo's Virtualization HARDWARE to run XP. That
long list of obsolete specs has little relationship to how XP
performs inside Parallels Workstation 2.1. It does not perform as if
it's on a PII processor with USB 1.1. It is running FULL BORE on the
Intel hardware that is in the Intel Mac.
