Paul, tell us what model, G-3 or G-4 and Operating System you are using. If you already have an airport card installed in your iBook, you should be able to connect. Open Utilities and launch Airport Setup Assistant; it will find the service for you. Be sure to check the "Show AirPort status in menu bar" under Internet Connect. If you have all black wave bars, you are in!
