[X4U] Apple's user base geezers?

I skimmed an article on one of the online mac zines saying basically 
that  most people using macs are older (55+) whereas young computer 
users are favoring pee cees.

such a broad statement bugs me, not only because it's simplistic, but 
mainly because it's Macs and OS X which are growing and evolving, and 
windows which seems to be the same old chewed meat iteration after 
iteration, with mere eyecandy bolted onto it.

any thoughts on this?
