Hardly. you have know idea what the man uses his computers for.

I for one have no problem keeping several computers busy 24/7 with 
distributed 3D rendering and video.

now that macs are highly capable of doing more, many of us DO have them 
doing more. if I could snag a few more mini's cheap to add to my render 
"farm" I'd do it in a a heartbeat and not feel any degree of overkill.
