heck, yeah!  and no software conflicts, works without electricity, and 
IIRC, K&E was/is the standard in slide rules, so not likely you're 
going to have slide rule envy any time soon.

no need to get a $1K computer and a $500 software package to do 
calculations when there are plenty of trusty, old, and often times 
faster ways of doing it.

Computers have their strengths, but they aren't the whole show.
