I second the motion. I have never had a problem buying directly from
Apple. We have a very good Apple Store nearby, where I usually place
the order. If it is something they have in stock, I can just take it
home with me. If they don't, it usually comes directly from Apple in
a couple of days.
I don't think you can save any money buying Apple products by mail.
The slightly lower price is usually about equal to the shipping charge.
