[X4U] Webcam apps quit

Hi, all.

I have problems with Webcam apps inexplicably quitting. This happens on
different computers, with different applications, different versions of the
OS. The common denominator is that the cameras being used are USB.

Has anyone heard of documented problems with USB cameras causing the
aforementioned problem?

Is there an Applescript/small app that can sense when an application quits
and restart it automatically?
