[X4U] Tvisto Hard Drive

I have the Tvisto 3500 multi-media hard drive.  It comes pre- 
formatted with the required file structure in the Windows NT file  
system.  I only have permission to read, not write to the drive.  Of  
course, that makes the drive useless.  I need to copy media files to  
the drive so I can play them on my home theater.  So, how do I change  
the permission?  Do I have to reformat the drive to HFS+?  The docs  
say that the drive supports this.  Thanks.
