[X4U] OS X and Flash Drive

Hello All,

I just purchased a Data Traveler 1GB Flash Drive to move my daughters 
MP3 files from my MDD Dualie to her FrankenMac G3.

Any particular format I should use? Does it take long to load 500 MB of 
songs on to this drive? Does it first need to have the Windows (MS DOS) 
drivers installed?
