[X4U] mirror agent

When I shut down my G5, it stops and says "mirroragent canceld shutdown". Then I'm given a dialogue box asking if I want to "continue". By clicking this I'm able to shut down. My computer hasn't always done this. Any suggestions as to why and how to stop it? I'm running Tiger PS10.4.11.
