Those prices are for unlocked iPhones, with no contract, right?

I have an 8GB 3G that I purchased last year. It cost me $199 CAD +  
activation fee + 13% taxes + minimum $30/month voice plan + $6.95/ 
month service fee + $0.50/month emergency services fee + 3 year  
contract. And it is SIM locked to the carrier! Since I wanted a data  
plan, I also added a 6GB $30/month for 36 months (3 years) data plan.  
And then there is the $15/month iPhone package which includes Visual  
Voicemail, SMS, caller ID. And the $10/month Long distance saver  
package, and... The iPhone is cheap to buy, expensive to use!

For me to get a 3GS, it will cost $199 + $94 early upgrade fee +  
extend contract 1 year. And I've been a client for over 10 years and  
currently have 4 phones with this carrier!
