[X4U] Mail addresses from the beyond

A puzzle for the group,A question posed to me by a friend using Mail on his Mac:
How to clean up the addresses which pop up when you start typing in the :"To" box?A lot of those addresses do nor even show up in the address book and when you push delete, once it is in the "To" field that does not remove them from the saved addresses.Any suggestions, ideas? TIA for any, any idea at all.John
