After a few restarts with MPEG Streamclip I got a notice that I missed the MPEG-2 plug-in from Apple. I used the link provided which brought me at the US site. At the Belgian site I could buy the plug-in and now it's running. Thanks Nick. Paul Moortgat Can't open the file either. I made a DVD-RW for my sister from a VHS tape. After it I found out that I used that DVD earlier for a test and it had a 2 minute file in front of the sister video part. Instead making a new DVD (I had assumed that I hadn't a DVD disk that's why I used a DVD-RW) which I got later on, I tried to fix it on the Mac and burn a real DVD via Toast. I've a Mac after all Isn't it? That DVD- RW will play on the Sony home recorder, but not on the Mac Pro (10.5.8) Only VLC will open de VRO file. The 3 files found on the DVD-RW are: VR_MANGR.BUP VR_MANGR.IFO VR_MOVIE.VRO Paul Moortgat On 07 Apr 2011, at 21:31, Nick Scalise wrote: > On Thu, Apr 7, 2011 at 1:53 PM, Paul Moortgat <paul.moortgat at pandora.be > > wrote: >> I saved a video in VLC (mov file) and didn't get video.
