[X4U] Anyone currently using a Mac OS X VOIP phone?

Try MajicJack. One version plugs into your USB port which the phone line
plugs into. The only problem, is that the computer must be on for the phone
to work.

They have a second model, it plugs into a 120 volt wall socket, and accepts
an ethernet cable from a router. There is also a socket for the phone. Ours
is hooked to a base phone with four wireless units. Works great. There is
an occasional dropped call, but not much. Instead of paying $40 a month for
a phone bill, I know pay $40 a *year *(includes $20 of porting my number
over). We are on our second year with MajicJack and will not switch back to
a phone company.
