I use Majic Jack as well, and it's working fine, with the exception of faxing. On Jan 1, 2013, at 6:52 AM, Stan Gould <stan.gould at gmail.com> wrote: > Try MajicJack. There is also a socket for the phone. Ours is hooked to a base phone with four wireless units. Works great. There is an occasional dropped call, but not much. Instead of paying $40 a month for a phone bill, I know pay $40 a year (includes $20 of porting my number over). We are on our second year with MajicJack and will not switch back to a phone company. > > > On Sun, Dec 16, 2012 at 2:44 PM, Jerry <apple.mail.list47 at oryx.cc> wrote: > Anyone currently using a Mac OS X VOIP phone? > > If you do, and it is working well for you, please share what you are using. > > I am in a situation right now where this would be beneficial for me. > > Just to clarify, I am *not* looking to set up a PBX/Asterisk or anything > similar, I am just interested in a sole VOIP phone, be it commercial, > open source, etc. > > I have been hitting the search engines on this, and for some odd reason, > the bulk of my searches are coming up with old articles (i.e. > 2004-2009).
