After trying for several days to get a Nokia 3650 and Bluetooth headsets from Jabra, Plantronics and Motorola to work together, I have finally found out that they will NEVER work in their current incarnations. The devices will pair but they will NOT connect to each other so calls cannot be made or received. Interestingly enough, I can use the Jabra to record a voice tag but nothing else. This morning, I was able to speak to a Bluetooth Product Specialist in Nokia's Data Networks group about the problem. While the 3650 supports Bluetooth spec v1.1, it only supports the Handsfree profile not the Headset profile (which all the headsets support). He had reports of people successfully connecting with some headsets but then dropping the connections or one side can hear but not speak and other anomalies. They are investigating the situation and he was thought that Nokia might be adding the Headset profile to the 3650 which can be "flashed." I just got off the phone with Jabra and they're aware of the problem. They're currently working to update the software for their headsets to support the Handsfree profile. They expect to have new headsets in five to six weeks. The current headsets will NOT be upgradeable. Bruce
