iBooks on TV - West Wing

Last night's episode of West Wing on NBC had an iBook (a 14" model, I 
believe) in a supporting role. A temp worker in the White House was 
using it. Oddly, or at least interestingly, the temp was a Trekkie 
who had been forbidden from wearing a Star Fleet badge to work. 
(Stereotyping Mac users or Trekkies?)

One continuity problem showed up. In a close shot the lighted Apple 
on the lid shows up clearly. When the camera cuts back to the wider 
shot, the Apple is dimmed, although the Trekkie appears to still be 
working.
