Get a 40 GB hardrive, download instructions off the net and give her
clamshell a new brain! I know that this sounds hard but with the right tools
- (easily had at radio shack) - anyone with a little courage and plenty of
patience can do the job. An external device will ruin the whole laptop
experience. Alternatively - get her a refurbished 700-900 iBook and forgo
all the pain.
