[P1] Flat bed scanners and clamshell iBook

I had a "Grape" (purple to me) iMac and hoped they would eventually do 
a grape
iBook but when they did a Lime instead I figured it was time to act and
grabbed an Indigo w/firewire. I toy with the idea of an Icebook but you
are right about it being too sterile, I'll not upgrade until they at
least color the apple logo! Seems silly but I bought this machine
because I wanted it not because I had to. A friend once told me " No 
matter how good the deal never buy a car if you don't really like the 
color, every time you look at it will remind you it wasn't quite what 
you wanted ."
