write laws favoring the manufacturers.

Walt Disney, Inc. just bought a law to extended the copyright on Mickey 
Mouse (and for other people to) to 90 years or so since the copyright 
would have expired last year and anyone could begin using Mickey Mouse, 
a multi-billion dollar personality.
