The second is hard drive space. With a 3 gig drive installing Jag and OS 9 will just about max out the drive. The third is speed. With 170meg RAM the machine will be no speed demon but running AppleWorks, a browser, and email will not be a painful proposition. I used OS X on my tangerine iBook for quite some time and was happy. The fourth is legality. What can you legally install on her iBook? -=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=- All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by frost. davidwb at spymac.com
