[P1] iPhoto library max size ?

I've just installed iPhoto Library Manager for similar reasons (we had 
accumulated just about 1,000 images); I don't recall anything that said 
you could specifically use it on an external drive; but from the look 
of the program, it wouldn't be an issue.
