You can do that; but you can't easily save them to CD as an iPhoto 
library. (There's a way around this that accounts for all of the 
invisible files iPhoto expects to find, but it's not a simple matter. 
This may change in iPhoto 2.)

And I can't even do that...I don't have a CD burner!
