[P1] removing menu items

In case it hasn't been mentioned, just press and hold the Apple/Command 
key when you click (and keep the button pressed) the icon with your 
mouse cursor. Move the mouse, and you can move the icon directly from 
the menu bar. Once the buttons are released, the icon will go up in 
smoke.
