Screen dims--bug or feature?

Hi,

My screen is ok when I move it back to adjust it, but when I move it 
forward so that it closes to less than a 90 degree angle with the 
keyboard, it dims the screen, thinking that I want to put it to sleep.

The only way I have found to get the screen lit again is to close it all 
the way to sleep it, and then open it up to wake it from sleep.

Other than that, I don't notice any other video problems, it doesn't 
seem like my video cable is being pinched.

What are others experiences?
