The plug itself looks more like a miniature power plug for an iBook in that it has a collar that fits around the female side on the computer. The plug also has at least three insulated sections to it as opposed to the standard stereo plug that is divided into two sections. I have searched the web and have not been able to come up with anything. Kensington makes a break-out box that allows the user to use the Apple port on the computer and any kind of speaker. If it didn't cost $25, I would consider buying one and cutting it apart, but I'm amazed that no one else has found the cable on the Apple Pro Speakers too short.
